Boks slip in rankings after narrow defeat

After a narrow 25-24 All Blacks defeat, the Springboks have fallen in their World Rugby rankings to 5th position.

New Zealand however increased their top spot in the rankings, earning 0.31 of a rating point. This boosted their overall score to 95.52, securing a comfortable 5.38 point advantage over England.

According to the World Rugby website, Australia's 37-20 victory over Argentina and second finishing spot in the Rugby Championship saw them move past Ireland and South Africa to secure a third spot in the rankings.
