18 injured in Durban City Centre taxi crash

It was reported that eighteen people have been injured after a Taxi and a vehicle collided at the corner of Commercial Road and Aliwal Street in Durban City Centre on Sunday afternoon.

According to Arrive Alive, paramedics found a taxi on its side with multiple patients and children on the scene.

From both vehicles, a total of eighteen people sustained minor and moderate injuries and were stabilised on the scene before being transported to different hospitals.

Arrive Alive adds that the cause of the collision is unknown at this stage but SAPS were on the scene and will be investigating further.
