Ferrari to revive Dino badge?

Author: Staff Reporter Updated: 10:41 14-08-2017

Previously, Ferrari had an entry range model named the Dino which was produced from 1968 to 1976. It however never wore the prancing horse logo on it.

Recently, it has been reported that the Ferrari board at Maranello is considering the decision to bring back the badge, carmag mentions.

According to Automotive News, Ferrari CEO Sergio Marchionne is cited as saying: “We need to explore ways to attract customers to traditional values of the brand such as style, performance and engine sound, before downgrading the entry-level price for the brand”.

It is a difficult decision to create a lower entry point to the Ferrari range as some may possibly feel that Ferrari should stay true to their core values.

Will Ferrari expand into the market at the right time as car sales prices inflates? Could the Dino be the break through that every car enthusiast loves?
